S&P 500 Futures Volatility Is Good For The Trader

Thursday, 19. January 2006

S&P 500 Futures Volatility is helpful to our trades. The range and uncertainty created gives the market energy to move. We can find profit in just the oscillation in price without the market being particularily bullish or bearish. Should the market breakout in any direction, that could amount to a tremendous trade in our favor. For those willing to let the charts plot there entries, the rewards can be great. Last trading session's volume was well above 50 day moving average with an accompanying lower low. This suggest this downward move has institutional participation, although we are still bullish. The market still has alot of back-filling to do for the size of the gain experienced since the beginning of the year.
