S&P 500 Futures Trade Stopped Out @ 1270.25 For A Loss

Wednesday, 15. February 2006

The S&P 500 futures market has shown alot of volatility as of late. Volatility is generally helpful for our trades but in this instance it contributed to being stopped out for a loss. The 1265 price area gave us profit on our last two trades so we still have a net gain but the big 10+ point trade we have been seeking still eludes.  Volume came in strong with over 1.1 million contracts trades versus the average of 824,000. This suggest participation by the institutions and this bull move could have some legs. We need to get a retrace and hold support before we consider a buy. Flat for now
