There is little advantage to trading before FOMC in regards to risk/reward being in your favor. The charts are pointing to a sell, but often times the chart acts as a trap to empty the pockets of the most traders before a news event like FOMC. This release coupled with Iran nuclear aspirations, Isreal military operations, and cooling U.S. economy can make for potentially wild swings.
