Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Driver's Licence (Class 1 or A), Air Brake (Z) Endorsement

Type of Trucking and Equipment: Tractor-trailer
Type of Travel: Local
Documentation Knowledge: Bill of lading, Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip)
Communication Equipment Experience: Citizens band (CB) radio
Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Specific Skills: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo, Perform brake adjustments, Monitor vehicle performance and mechanical fitness
Security and Safety: Driving record check (abstract)
Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots
Transportation/Travel Information: Valid driver's licence, Public transportation is not available
Essential Skills: Oral communication
