Merry Christmas from CEF of SC

Sunday, 07. December 2008

Remember the lyrics to that old Christmas song, "The Little Drummer Boy"? It is such a vivid reminder of the Christmas story from a child's point of view.

Come they told me, pa rum pum pum pum
A new born King to see, pa rum pum pum pum
Our finest gifts we bring, pa rum pum pum pum
To lay before the King, pa rum pum pum pum,
rum pum pum pum, rum pum pum pum,

So to honor Him, pa rum pum pum pum,
When we come.

What will you do to honor Him

with what you have to bring?

Praying that you experience

the joy of knowing Him

this holiday season!

Student Thunder Team Arrives Safely Back Home

Tuesday, 22. July 2008
Jen, Abby, Candace, Mildred, & Rebecca all arrived back to South Carolina today after three and a half weeks on the overseas mission field in Trinidad.  This was CEF of SC's first Student Thunder team - a mission to provide advanced students of our summer Christian Youth In Action the opportunity to experience CEF abroad. "The trip was awesome! God really showed up! I am excited to be home but I'm really miss Trinidad!" said Rebecca, our 'unofficial' missionary reporter.  We will be getting together with these students and leaders in the next few weeks to interview them and allow them to share their experiences on video.  We'll premiere the footage on cef-sc.org as soon as it's available.
