On leaving Faro airport follow the sign to Faro but dont go into Faro -you will then see a blue sign for Portimao on the N125 road -follow this until you see the blue sign A22 /IP1 to Portimao-don`t go fast otherwise you may miss certain turns. Once on the motorway A22 / IP1 you can go faster until you reach the Albufeira turn off at junction 9.
