An Indian Mother’s Matchmaking Endeavors

I often envy the blissful sight of a young married girl, perhaps, because Amrita, my daughter, has yet not attained the ‘married’ status, which, that girl of her age has already acquired. For the past seven years I have been in search of a suitable groom for her and like all mothers of marriageable daughters, I have also spent several sleepless nights. I have tried every trick of the trade, ‘matchmaking’.
