Pine Falls has produced some nice eyes by the dam and the annual run should start very soon. This is good news for the Voyageur and the Canadian Walleye Championship slated for October. I had the opportunity to fish with Jason Gauthier last year and had a great time walleye hunting. All the boys from the mill really looked after me from dusk to dawn. I don't know if I will have the opportunity to fish the Voyageur again but let me tell you these boys put on a first class event. Fishing in the river system can be unbelievable at times. If you are in the mood for a last kick at some tournaments either of these two up in Pine Falls are an excellent choice.
