RCMP are looking for a gator that is on the loose after it was stolen in southern Manitoba.
It's not a large, man-eating reptile police are seeking, it's the six-wheeled version.
RCMP said someone stole a 1999 John Deere Gator all-terrain vehicle from the Crow Wing Golf Course some time between 6 p.m. on Aug. 24 and 5 p.m. on Aug. 26.
The theft was reported to police Monday morning.
RCMP said the Gator was parked at the golf course, and was being used to develop it.
The vehicle is a heavy-duty John Deere model from 1999. It has six wheels and is yellow in colour with a dump box.
Anyone with information about the theft is asked to call St. Pierre-Jolys
RCMP at 1-204-433-7908 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
