Wednesday, 14. May 2008
I'm really excited about the new feature in Nozbe that we've introduced today:

Drag and Drop to process Inbox and other projects faster than ever!

Until now, you could only drag-and-drop to reorder actions, notes and files, now you can move them to different projects and contexts with a single drag... just watch this short video (3:45 min.):

Please remember that only today, May 14th, you can take advantage of the special offer for the new, Nozbe Family plan. You can get up to 6 Nozbe accounts for a monthly price lower than a single PRO plan!

Nozbe for iPhone - faster and with new features!

Monday, 12. May 2008

Last two weeks we've been working hard on speeding up the iNozbe application (Nozbe for the iPhone) and I must say lots of improvements have been made to iNozbe:

  • The interface is a whole lot faster - thanks to improved Javascript and lower page loads, using iNozbe with your EDGE connection on the iPhone should be a smooter experience, especially if you've got lots of projects and lots of tasks/actions and notes.

  • You can now show/hide notes on the iPhone just as you'd do it on the "big" web-based Nozbe. Very handy for accessing only the notes you care about and again, lowering the application load on your iPhone for yet more speed!

  • You can filter your Next Actions by Project/Context and display only one task per project - just like on the big Nozbe. Easier to get things done when on the go with the iPhone!

  • You can share/delegate tasks with your colleagues, friends and family. Especially now with the introduction of the Family/Small Team Plan, you'll be able to manage your entire team with the iPhone as the "weapon" of choice :-)

  • You can edit/delete projects through the iPhone interface as well, yet more power under your fingers.

  • We're not done just yet! We'll be introducing new features to the iNozbe together with the new introductions to the web-based Nozbe, so stay tuned!
Hope you like the new enhancements. We're enjoying developing new and greater Nozbe for you.

Please remember that only until this Wednesday, May 14th, you can take advantage of the special offer for the new, Nozbe Family plan. You can get up to 6 Nozbe accounts for a monthly price lower than a single PRO plan!

GTD with Apple Mac Dashboard widgets - powered by Nozbe

Thursday, 24. April 2008
Today I decided to finally publish a video tutorial showing the two ways of creating a Dashboard widget for the Mac OSX (Tiger or Leopard) operating systems. Now you can get things done with Nozbe on any Mac without opening Nozbe.com web site in your browser.

Just have a look at the video showing you how this can be accomplished:

As you can see, the widget uses the same iNozbe interface that you already enjoy on your iPhone.

Additional bonus: we are currently working hard on adding new cool features to the iNozbe interface and your dashboard widget will get them as well - so your widget will be even more powerful very soon!

It's just 2 minutes! ...and it's a lot of time!

Tuesday, 22. April 2008
I wrote another guest post for the GTD Times blog - "It’s just 2 minutes!… and it’s a lot of time!" - head along and have a read (it will take you two minutes) and feel free to comment. It's an article about the famous 2-minute rule David Allen invented.

I've also introduced a small 120-second timer in Nozbe - I'll talk about it tomorrow.

Nozbe - exciting new road ahead!

Thursday, 17. April 2008
These first three and a half months have been very exciting for me and for my Nozbe project.

Thanks to you - my users who just love getting things done!

Nozbe - simply get things done! has transformed from a side-project by my company, apivision.com into a fully-fledged business. I've spent the great part of this month re-arranging everything to ensure nice and steady Nozbe growth.

As you know, last week my dream came true and I managed to get to know David Allen personally and take part in his GTD Seminar.

Today I'd like to reveal some of the details of Nozbe's path in front of us:

  1. I just hired new "development power" - a very talented programmer to help us finish the features we've been long creating for Nozbe

  2. iNozbe will be receiving a great feature boost and speed enhancement so it'll be even nicer to use on the iPhone, with iGoogle and also on the Apple's Dashboard.

  3. Deeper 3rd party integration is being finished now, including iCal, RSS and more...

  4. The "Projects" section will finally receive a boost, it will be even easier for you to manage projects, tag and archive them...

  5. Processing Inbox will be even more fun! You'll see but I'm already excited!

  6. This blog and the forums will be moved to an integrated infrastructure so that you can comment on these posts easier and you can chat with one another without having to log in again to the forums!

  7. All-powerful and quick Search is coming to Nozbe!

  8. More and more stuff is coming! Stay tuned!
We are also working on a brand new "help" section in Nozbe and a few other enhancements... I'm really excited as to what we have in front of us!

Again, I'd like to thank you all for being great Nozbe users and would like to apologize I wasn't so visible on the forums lately. I've been working like crazy on the new forums and blog and they should be out in a few days... and I'll be participating in the discussion even more than before!

Thanks guys! and have the rest of the week a very productive one!

- Michael

Nozbe on GTD Seminar with David Allen!

Friday, 11. April 2008
I've been waiting for this moment for so long! David Allen is coming to my town and I've signed up for the his GTD seminar and will spend the whole day today listening to my personal productivity "guru".

Don't get me wrong. I know the GTD book almost by heart and I have a copy in English, German and Polish language (I'm buying the Spanish version soon) - luckily I speak all of these languages.

But reading a book doesn't compare to see the author in action in one of his seminars. Thanks for supporting Nozbe I had the money to pay for the seminar (It's quite pricey at $1K) and I can participate and meet David in person. I'm very excited.

BTW. New features and functionality is coming to Nozbe but I'll tell you more about it the next week.

Yours truly - Michael "Nozbe" Sliwinski
