A family holiday destination just minutes west of the city of Kenora.
We are a small and intimate family run operation with three fully equipped lakeside cabins for rent. We have fifty acres of property on beautiful Lu Lu lake, in a horseshoe shape at the end of the lake. It starts with our sandy beach and ends at a bubbling waterfall that runs into Louise Lake beneath. At the beach we have docking, including a slide and diving board. There is also a playground for the kids.
This vacation paradise is perfect for people who are interested in wildlife, outdoor recreation and many sports. On site you can go swimming, fishing, and boating. Our lake is locally famous for the best Croppie fishing around, or just relax and take a slow ride around the lake and enjoy nature. If you like canoeing and kayaking this is a dream come true, you can portage from our lake all of the way to the Winnipeg river.
If you prefer land activities you can go hiking and do some wildlife viewing. Bring your bikes and take a scenic ride down the road to the local petting farm. We are ten minutes away from the local driving range if golf is your thing. There is also a mini golf course to putt away the afternoon.
You could also take a jaunt into the city of Kenora. It's only a twenty minute drive from your cabin. Buy souvenirs at the wonderful gift shops or stock up on groceries for a barbeque back at your cabin. End the day with a toasty bonfire, roast some marshmallows and you'll be ready for a peaceful sleep as you drift away to the call of the loons.
