These include alternative energy, renewable energy, biochemicals, bioenergy, wind power, solar power, photovoltaics, ocean power, ethanol, biodiesel, clean coal power, all electric cars, batteries, hybrid cars, hydrogen, oil natural gas and fuel cells. EPRI report on batteries is referenced as a good source of information. However large format (car battery) lithium ion batteries have improved significantly since this report was released and show promise to be lightear weight and less expensive than NiMH batteries.
